A Man Standing On A Beach Looking At The Sunset

The Rhythm of the Seasons

Paje moves to nature’s own rhythm. From June to October, golden days unfold under clear skies — the perfect time for barefoot rituals by the sea and energizing movement in the open air. November to March brings warmth and a wilder ocean spirit, alive with kites and adventure, while brief showers refresh the land and awaken the senses. April and May slow everything down, when tropical rains invite stillness, introspection, and renewal.

Kuzi winds (June – September): Strong, consistent south-easterly winds – ideal for advanced riders.

Kaskazi winds (December – February): Lighter, north-easterly winds – great for beginners & intermediates.

Best Months: June–September & December–February.

Best Months: March, July–October, and December–February.

Clear visibility (20–30m), calm seas, rich coral life, and chances to spot dolphins, turtles, and whale sharks (seasonal).

Year-round, but tides are strong on the East Coast — swimming best during high tide.

June–October and December–February offer the most comfortable weather.

Before you Travel

Zanzibar Requirements

Passport Validity: Ensure your passport remains valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date—with at least one blank page.

Visa Requirements: Most visitors need a Tanzania tourist visa, valid across the entire archipelago. Apply online via the official Tanzanian eVisa portal, and plan to do so at least two weeks ahead, as visa‑on‑arrival is no longer guaranteed.

Mandatory Travel Insurance: Since October 2024, inbound travel insurance from the Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC) is required for all visitors—other policies won’t be accepted.
